Our "Exceptional" customer service

Lampier have always made customer service a top priority, and now a survey of more than 21,000 clients and over 1,000 staff undertaken by Investor in Customers Ltd (IIC), an independent assessment organisation, has strongly endorsed our client service culture.

IIC conducted a rigorous bench-marking exercise to determine the quality of client relationships and service across a number of dimensions, including:

  • How well does a company understand its clients?
  • How well does a company meet its clients' needs?
  • How does a company's after sales service delight its clients?
  • How effective is a company at engendering loyalty?

The Group's overall results convey the importance it places on putting its clients at the very heart of its business. (This year's Client Net Promoter score was +20%, compared with the typical score of other leading companies of between +5% and +10%.)
Phil Barton, Group Commercial Director, said: "I am delighted with our result. The fact that we are the only insurance broker to embark on this exercise underscores the importance we place on each of our clients and our commitment to developing our client proposition."

Charlie Williams, IIC's Business Development Director, added: "Jelf Group plc is clearly passionate about delivery of excellent client service. The improvement in the Group's overall score, in addition to the great results enjoyed by Lampier and Manson, confirm its commitment to developing best practice and growing its business through client service."

We believe the IIC award fairly reflects the hard work and dedication of our employees. The importance of the relationship between client service and client loyalty has never been more clear to us and, at a time when client retention is paramount, it remains fundamental to our business strategy.
